S.B.S stands for Single Barrel Selection. As the name suggests, in this product line of 1423 only one barrel is filled for each product. Each barrel is selected for the respective bottling under special criteria and offered with a limited number of bottles. The whole S.B.S series includes only classic rums, no blends, to express the versatility of rums as well as their unique quality and exquisite taste. S.B.S Barbados Rum is produced at the West Indies Rum distillery in Barbados. It matures in an ex-Bourbon barrel then the finish takes place in a former PX sherry barrel; as usual with the S.B.S series no cooling filtration was used. Distilled: 2000 Bottled: October 2021 Limited to 186 bottles worldwide. Tasting notes:Colour: Gold. Nose: Fruity, currants, blackberries, rubber, wood polish. Taste: Fruity, leather, wood polish.
