Domäne Wachau, located in Austria's most renowned wine-growing region, the Wachau, is one of the country's leading white wine producers. Steep terraced vineyards, a cool marginal climate and barren primary rock soils characterize the wines of the Wachau. The terraced vineyards of the Loibenberg reach up to 420 meters. Warm Pannonian air masses and Gföhler gneiss characterize the terroir of this site. Federspiel refers to dry, medium-bodied and particularly elegant wines from the Wachau.
