Located in the heart of Tuscany, Villa di Remole is the cradle of the Frescobaldi family's history, rich in tradition, which goes back a good 700 years. The excellent climate in April and May ensured rapid growth of the plants. The very hot July triggered the ripening of the grapes, which continued gently the following month thanks to the rain. In August, temperatures dropped, allowing the main substances to concentrate in the berries and achieving excellent quality in terms of aromas and polyphenols. Tasting notes:Ruby red with violet highlights. On the nose fruity of red berries. The palate is juicy, pleasant, fruity and balanced with a good structure. Long lasting on the finish. Grape varieties: Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon. Aging: 5 months in stainless steel tank and wooden barrels. This wine goes very well with pasta, poultry and sausage, also it is excellent as an aperitif.
