The family business is one of the oldest wine producers in Spain. Already more than 200 years they focus on quality and tradition. In 1874, Osborne took over Bodega Montecillo, the third oldest winery in Rioja. The bottles have featured the Osborne bull for decades, designed by Manolo Prieto. He is the symbol of passion, strength and pride. The maturation of the sherries is done in the traditional solera method. Tasting notes:Rich straw gold in the glass. On the nose mild and salty and almond. Intense on the palate with subtle salty notes. Long lasting in the finish. Grape variety: Palomino Fino. Aging: 3.5 years in American oak barrels. The sherry is excellent as an aperitif and with fish dishes and savory pastries.
