The Polz winery is located in southern Styria. The geographical location of the winery is ideal for viticulture. The good balance between sunshine hours and precipitation, as well as the nature of the soil are essential for the production of high quality wine. The foundation stone of the Polz Winery was laid 109 years ago by Johann Polz, which today is already managed by the fourth generation. The Polz family attaches particular importance to sustainability: insecticides are completely avoided and pruning, which has been practiced for decades, is carried out very gently. The fully ripe grapes are harvested by hand. Tasting notes:Clear pale straw yellow in the glass. On the nose nuances of herbs, meadows, fruity of juicy Williams pears. On the palate harmonious, fruity with a subtle acidity. Long lasting finish accompanied by notes of pears. Grape variety: Pinot Blanc. Maturation: steel tank. Closure: screw cap. Cellaring potential: At least 3 years. Drinking temperature: 8-10°C. This fruity drop is an excellent accompaniment to baked chicken liver.
